         On February 6th 1997 by an act of parliament, The Royal Bahamas Police Force Staff Association was established. The purpose of the Police Staff Association is to make prevision for the formation, constitution and function of Police Staff Association membership and enables it's members to consider matters affecting their corporate welfare and efficiency. Including items such as pay, pensions and conditions in which officers serve.
